First Look in Gas Tank

Here's a hole in the step in the fuel tank.  I'll have to patch or weld up the hole.  

Here's the fuel tank pickup and sender.  It's surprisingly clean with some corrosion at the top.  I tested the resistance of the sender and it appears to work great.  The fuel float is clean and devoid of trapped fuel or varnish.

The inside of the tank from the filler shows a lot of dirt and rust at the bottom of the tank.  There is one pinhole at the bottom.
